daytime visit

Molly dog and I needed to get out for a hike today. We were headed over to Coot Lake but it was pretty windy today. So we decided to go over to the trails by the owls and get a short hike in.

I couldn't find Sonny but Cher was on the nest. So I said hi, snapped a pick and we headed down the path. I happened to look up and a red tail hawk was looking right at me. He was so close, I felt like I could reach out and touch him. He posed for some very cool pics.
