Duck fight

This happened Friday afternoon and even though it doesn't involve the owls, I just had to share. I had stopped over Friday afternoon to see my owl friends. It was a beautiful afternoon, so I just hanging around enjoying the day. As I was taking some pics of Horton looking so damn cute, I saw the mallards fly into the stream. Yes, a daring pair of mallards has taken up residence by the owls....
Well, I get done with the pics, look into the stream and realized there were 2 drakes fighting over the female. It was crazy! They even dunked the female as she was trying to get out of the way. Here are the pics with captions.......
