It's twins!

I couldn't wait to get over to see the owls. The babies are growing like weeds, so I wanted to get pics of them as often as possible. When I got there, Cher was in a nearby tree preening and getting ready for a busy night. Sonny was nearby getting ready for his night too.
I saw movement in the nest and quickly got off a few shots. I could clearly see 2 baby owls and they are cute! A mom and her 3 kids were walking by admiring the adult owls. I showed them the baby pics and the kids got pretty excited. It's never too early to get the kids interested in Nature :)
Finally Cher flew off towards the big field to find some dinner for the kids. She was back in a few minutes and landed in a nearby tree with dinner in her mouth. Sonny flew up next to her an they chatted in owl language. My best guess was they were making the game plan for the evening.....very cute.
Cher flew into the nest, delivered dinner, posed for a few pics and then was off for more food.
I stayed around for a few minutes to enjoy the quiet of the evening. My stomach started growling, so I headed home for my own dinner. What a fun evening..........
