Sunday morning fun!

Seems the world didn't come to an end yesterday, so I decided to celebrate by going out on a photo shoot.
First I headed over to Saw Hill Ponds. I had only walked about 50 yards when I saw a momma mallard and her babies- very cute!
Another 50 yards and there was beautiful snowy egret. Wow! I was seeing some cool stuff :)
Then I heard a cute little bird singing. The little ones are tough to get a pic of cause they move so darn fast. Finally got a cute pick of a house wren.
A bit further down the trail, were some beautiful yellow flowers. As I started taking pics, a bee honored me by posing in the pic. That was so cool! There were many other flowers for him to land on and he chose to get in my pic! Of course I thanked him :)
As you'll see, I got some more cool bird pics and then headed over to see my owls. First I headed over to my new owl friends. There was no sign of the parents but the babies posed very nicely. The one that was awake is sooo darn cute!
And finally I had to go say hi to my owl friends at Twin Lakes. As I was walking down the trail I spotted a red tail hawk so close, I could almost touch him! I got about a million pics of him and even stopped a mom and 3 kids so they could check him out. He was quite comfortable with my presence and even pose a few times while he was looking for his next meal.
I only found one of the baby owls today- Penelope. She looked quite comfortable just chillin on a Sunday morning.
Lots of pics today so please enjoy!
